S&R AUTOMOTIVE AND COOK'S HARDWARE PRESENT THE EMPIRE SUPER SPRINTS AS THEY INVADE THE CAN-AM SPEEDWAY ON FRIDAY AUGUST 9TH
The always exciting Empire Super Sprints will make their 2nd
visit of the season to the Can-Am Speedway, next Friday night, August
9th. The fan favorite winged warriors will highlight the evenings
program and can anybody beat July 3rd's winner young Paulie
Colagiovanni who dominated the 25 feature just one month ago.
Colagiovanni is also the 2019 point leader for the Empire Super
Sprints and he is sure to feel the pressure from Chuck Hebing, Jason
Barney, Davie Franek and Matt Tanner who round out the top 5 in
points. Local fans will be cheering for ESS standouts Jeff Cook from
nearby Antwerp, NY and former Can-Am go-kart racer Denny Peebles as
they chase the checkered flag at their "home track" at the Can-Am
Speedway. The nights racing will be sponsored by S&R Automotive and
Cook's Hardware, get there early for a good seat as the winged
sprinters hit the 1/2 mile clay oval reaching speeds of over 100 mph.
Gates will open at 5:00 with racing getting the green flag at 7:30
