Racing Legends to Shine at Can-Am Speedway’s Inaugural Hall of Fame Ceremony

Many of the greats in auto racing have passed through the pit gates at the Can-Am Speedway since 1974. Clark, McCreadie, Reddick, O’Brien, Doiron, Heaslip, Gill and many others have graced victory lane and went on to greatness in the last 50 years.

To honor these legends of the sport and of Can-Am Speedway, the staff and management have decided to add even more anticipation to the 51st season, with the first ever Can-Am Speedway Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

The Hall of Fame will honor many drivers, crew members, sponsors, former long-time staff and those who left their mark on the history of the speedway.

With this being the Speedway Hall of fame, the focus will not just be on the drivers from the Modified division, but rather, drivers from all divisions, including present classes like the DIRTcar Sportsman.

Past drivers from the Street Stock, Pure Stock, IMCA Modified, Late Model (6&8 Cylinder and Crate) and other divisions, who all helped shape the first 50 years of the track, will all be up for nomination and consideration for the inaugural class and future induction ceremonies in years to come.

The Bartlett family, track staff and management are all looking forward to the announcement of the inaugural class. Further details will be released including nominations and selections in the coming weeks, with a date for the official ceremony to be announced later this season.

For continued updates at the speedway including this exciting announcement of the Hall of Fame and other events that are happening during the 2025 season, visit our website at racecanam.com, give us a follow on Facebook and if you can’t make it to the track, be sure to follow the racing action on My Race Pass. Stay tuned for further Can-Am Speedway Hall of Fame updates in the weeks to come.
