LAFARGEVILLE, NY - The 2025 edition of Showdown in September had a little bit of everything on Friday night. Between Mother Nature paying a visit on multiple occasions during the evening and some great racing action, fans certainly were entertained.

LAFARGEVILLE, NY - Track championships will be decided in four divisions Friday night at the Can Am Speedway in Lafargeville New York. SeverIt’s a weekend we have all anticipated, which also means the 51st season at Can Am Speedway is drawing to a close. The Showdown in September kicks off two days of action packed racing, with some major events set to take to the speedway.

Friday Night Racing Action Continues This Week At Can-Am Speedway

LAFARGEVILLE, NY - After an incredible night of racing to kick off the season points chase last week, racing returns to The Nasty Track of the North at Can-Am Speedway this Friday night in Lafargeville, New York. Maggie's OntheRiver is the headline sponsor for the evening, which includes a full night of family-friendly, adrenaline-fueled fun and excitement.

Tim Fuller was last week’s winner in the Whitesboro Plow Shop & Spring and Alignment 358 Modified division. Will he be able to repeat? Do not miss out on the chance to see what happens, live and in person!

The slate of divisions for the evening includes Whitesboro Plow shop 358 Modifieds, Bob Johnson Sportsman, and FABCO Pro Stocks; all sanctioned by DIRTcar. The paid B-Main for the Sportsman, sponsored by Donath Motor Worx gives that class an extra opportunity to take home winnings. Marsha Gibbons TLC Real Estate, ThunderStock and Donath Motor Worx Limited Sportsman features fill out the rest of the scheduled race event. Nothing beats a night at the track!

DTD continues to offer an on-demand digital viewing option for fans who cannot attend the races in person throughout the 2021 racing season.

Pit Gates open at 4pm with General Admission gates opening at 5pm. The drivers meeting will take place at 6:30pm sharp with Hot Laps to ensue at 6:45pm. Opening Ceremonies for the evening will kick off at 7:30pm with Heat Races to immediately follow.

General Admission (Spectator) Pricing:

  • 18+: $15
  • 5-17: $5
  • Under 5: Free - GA Gate Reminder: NO COOLERS (including food or beverage).
Pit Admission Pricing:
  • Driver & Crew Members: $35
  • 5 and Under: $15 - Please use the Pit Gate for all MEDIA Admissions
