The Green Flag's Set To Wave On Can-Am Speedway's Regular Season This Friday!

LAFARGEVILLE, NY - Racing returns to the North Country! Can-Am Speedway, located in LaFargeville, New York, launches the season points opener when the green flag flies and racing action returns to the “Nasty Track of the North� on Friday, April 30th, sponsored by Dirt Empire Magazine.

A full schedule of family fun and racing excitement is planned for the evening including DIRTcar sanctioned 358 Modified(sponsored by Whitesboro Plow Shop & Spring and Alignment), Sportsman (sponsored by Bob Johnson Auto Group) and Pro Stock features (sponsored by FABCO). ThunderStock (sponsored by Marsha Gibbons TLC Realty) and Limited Sportsman features round out the night of racing.

Local celebrity Alex Hazard from ABC 50 will be on hand to drop the green flag and officially launch the 2021 regular season points opener. The first 200 guests through the door will receive a copy of Dirt Empire Magazine, the newest dirt-track-only national racing publication.

Pit Gates open at 4pm with General Admission gates opening at 5pm. The drivers meeting will take place at 6:45pm sharp with Hot Laps to ensue at 7pm. Opening Ceremonies for the evening will kick off at 7:30pm with Heat Races to immediately follow.
