CAN-AM SPEEDWAY TO WELCOME BACK FANS FOR ANNUAL PABST SHOOT-OUT FEATURING ESS SPRINTS, 358 DIRTcar MODIFIEDS, DIRT CAR SPORTSMAN AND MOD-LITES
Can-Am Speedway management is waiting patiently for the officialÂ word from NYS, with anticipation that spectators will be allowed for
the upcoming Pabst Shoot-Out scheduled for Wednesday July 1st.
TrackÂ owner Tyler Bartlett said "it's been a long time coming, but hopefullyÂ word from Albany later this week will allow us to have fans inÂ attendance" for what is always one of the most popular nights of theÂ season at the LaFargeville oval.
With the 2020 racing season beingÂ delayed due to the Corona Virus, this will be the opening event forÂ the always exciting Empire Super Sprints and a solid field of cars isÂ expected.Â Joining the Winged Warriors will be the Whitesboro PlowÂ Shop-358 DIRTcar Modifieds battling for the $2000 winners check over aÂ 30 lap distance, all qualifiers will receive $250 to take the green.
The FX Caprara Honda-DIRTcar Sportsman will have their own 30 lapÂ feature event in a DIRTcar Sportsman Series race paying $1000 to winÂ and the Mod-Lites will return to complete the 4 division show.
TheÂ annual Pabst Shoot-Out packs the pit area and with fans being allowedÂ for the first time in 2020, it is sure to be an exciting night of dirtÂ track racing action.
All CDC guidelines will be followed with faceÂ masks and social distancing in place.There will be show up pointsÂ for the Whitesboro Plow Shop-358 DIRTcar Modifieds and FX CapraraÂ Honda-DIRTcar Sportsman.Â Racing will be sponsored by St. LawrenceÂ Radiology, pit gates will open at 3:00 with grandstand gates swingingÂ open at 5:00 and the first green flag waving at 7:00.
