LAFARGEVILLE, NY - The 2025 edition of Showdown in September had a little bit of everything on Friday night. Between Mother Nature paying a visit on multiple occasions during the evening and some great racing action, fans certainly were entertained.

LAFARGEVILLE, NY - Track championships will be decided in four divisions Friday night at the Can Am Speedway in Lafargeville New York. SeverIt’s a weekend we have all anticipated, which also means the 51st season at Can Am Speedway is drawing to a close. The Showdown in September kicks off two days of action packed racing, with some major events set to take to the speedway.

Tadd Parks Helps Bring 358-Modifed Championship Up To $5,000-To-Win

LAFARGEVILLE, NY - Tadd Parks, owner of Parks Companies in Clayville NY, has sweetened the pot for the 2018 Whitesboro Plow Shop - Can-Am Speedway DIRTcar 358 Modified Champion.

This years Champion will now leave the annual banquet with a check for $5000.  New Can-Am owner, Tyler Bartlett, continues to work hard this off season to bring more exciting programs to the LaFargeville oval, for not only the competitors but also the fans and sponsors.

Parks is a long time supporter of dirt track racing and a notable car owner for such drivers, including Stewart Friesen.  Parks Companies specializes in paving, trucking and hauling.

With the addition of Parks Companies, Can-Am hopes to draw a banner field of Whitesboro Plow Shop - DIRTcar 358 Modified competitors to compete for the $5000 champions share of the point fund.

Look for more exciting news coming this off season, as the Can-Am Speedway prepares for a busy 2018.
