Division Sponsors, Increase To Point Fund Announced For '18

LAFARGEVILLE, NY - Officials have been busy lining up sponsors for the coming season and are proud to announce the signing of division sponsors for 2018.

Can-Am is proud to welcome Whitesboro Plow Shop, FX Caprara Car Companies, FABCO and Marsha Gibbons/TLC Real Estate as 2018 division sponsors. The Whitesboro Plow Shop - DIRTcar 358 Modifieds will be racing this season for a $3500 to win track championship, thanks to Skip & Melanie Wattenbe and the Whitesboro Plow Shop in Watertown NY.

The DIRTcar Sportsman will see their track champion walk away from the 2018 banquet with a check for $2000, thanks to Frank Caprara and the Caprara family at FX Caprara Car Companies.

The Tontarski family and FABCO will back the Pro Street Stock division this season. FABCO's participation and support will help raise the Pro Street Stock point championship up to $1250. The popular Thunder Stock division at Can-Am will now be racing for $1000 and the champions trophy, thanks to Marsha Gibbons and TLC Real Estate's sponsorship. These great companies are making it possible for the Can-Am Speedway to announce these generous increases in all point funds.

Every division at Can-Am will see the track champion in 2018 taking home more than double what was on the line in recent years. Although the Rookie Sportsman division at Can-Am will not be racing for points or a point championship, officials hope to announce a division sponsor in the next couple of weeks, so all the Rookie Sportsman will be honored at the annual banquet.

Officials will keep working hard to get more local businesses involved to help Can-Am continue to grow. More exciting news will be released in the next few weeks on weekly sponsors.
